In the vicinity of the hotel les Costans

The hotel Les Costans is located on a ledge of the bay on the Côte de Granit Rose Bay, in the heart of Perros-Guirec, in a few hundred meters from the city center and all the amenities (banks, post office, tourist office and shops). The hotel gardens overlook the sea and overlook the road to mass, which is none other than the famous customs trail, also called GR 34.

Stay at the hotel Les Costans and take the opportunity to discover the many activities to do around Perros-Guirec. Let yourself be seduced by the magnificent landscapes of Brittany for a simple weekend or a stay.

Visit Perros Guirec

While Perros Guirec cannot be defined as a small picturesque village, it is nonetheless a city full of charm. A trip to the city center is a must to discover its pretty streets with typical stone houses or its half-timbered architecture that is reminiscent of other regions of France.

Right in the heart of the city, you can't miss the charming Saint-Jacques Church. A jewel of Perrosian heritage, it has stood proudly since the 11th century and has been expanded several times. To the west, in the Clarity district, you will find the Chapel of Notre-Dame de La Clarté (patron saint of sailors) and to the south, the Kernivinen Chapel.

What if you brought back a souvenir of your stay? Numerous shops welcome you to Perros-Guirec: crafts, jewelry, regional products... In the evening, treat yourself to a stroll on the Trestrignel or Trestraou beach not far from the hotel.

Discovering the Pink Granite Coast and Ploumanac'h

The most beautiful beaches are, without a doubt, in Ploumanac'h. Go to Saint Guirec beach to admire the famous pink granite that is the identity of the region. For the most curious, the Maison du Littoral offers exhibitions on local geology. It is also possible to visit the granite quarries located in La Clarté. At sunrise, head for the Mean Ruz lighthouse, an essential symbol of the Pink Granite Coast. From here, the Customs Trail takes you on a magnificent hike, to discover the coast and its most beautiful places: the Castle of Costérès, the peninsula of Renote, the Sculpture Park, Trégastel and its paradisiacal beaches (Coz-Pors, Grève Blanche)...

The Pink Granite Coast is unique in France. Its crystal-clear water and surprisingly shaped stones will not leave you indifferent. Let yourself also be carried away by the poetry and colors of the Landes de Ploumanac'h: a landscape dotted with heather and gorse, in the middle of the chaos of pink granite. If you feel like it, go back a little further inland to explore the Traouïero Valley, a small world out of sight and worthy of the forest of Merlin the Enchanter. Immerse yourself in lush nature, to the sound of birds, and take a break in the cool of the rock or stream.

Venture to the 7 islands

In an adventurous mood? Embark on board a speedboat to discover a jewel of Breton's natural heritage: The 7 islands, off the coast of Perros-Guirec. One of these islands is home to the most important bird reserve in France, classified as a Nature Reserve in 1976. A unique show is then offered to you: several thousand gannets, crested cormorants, crooked penguins and the last puffins in France that evolve for the pleasure of the eyes. You can't miss Île aux Moines either, which takes its name from the Cordelier monks who populated it in the 15th century. And who knows, maybe you will be lucky enough to see one of the gray seals that have taken up residence around the archipelago. On board the boat, enthusiasts will comment on the cruise to reveal all the secrets of the 7 islands and make you aware of their protection.

The cliffs of Paimpol

Further east, the small town of Paimpol offers a nice show on the cliff road, to be done in one day. Several viewpoints are available to you (Gwin Zedal, the Shelburn Stele or Bonaparte Beach). Stop at the Craca mill, Beauport Abbey or Port Lazo to enjoy its oyster farm. The Paimpol marina, on the other hand, will be an opportunity to offer you the pleasure of seafood, from the producer to the plate.

The island of Bréhat

A stone's throw (or rowing) from Paimpol, is the island of Bréhat. Still wild, although inhabited, this island is a small haven of peace where you can only travel on foot or by bike. Vegetation, transparent water, and beautiful views, as long as you put on your best shoes and go around the island. Keep an eye out so as not to miss the flight of a cormorant or the passage of a seal!

Natural curiosities around Perros-Guirec

If you venture far enough, you will have the opportunity to observe some unusual places, such as the Plougrescant Chasm. On a windy day, admire the elements unleashed and the water rush into this fault dug in the middle of the cliffs. Be careful not to slip!

A few meters away and if the weather is nice, you will notice a house placed between two rocks, alone on a peninsula. It is Castel Meur, a real curiosity in the region.

Another place that is not lacking in originality: the Sillon de Talbert. It is a 3 km long strip of sand that juts out into the sea. A nice walk that will give you the impression of walking on water.

Other city walks

Are you ready to go back to some cultural visits? The historic town of Lannion, located a few minutes from Perros-Guirec, is the ideal place to immerse yourself in the character of the region without being drowned in the mass of tourists. You will find houses made of slate and others that defy the laws of gravity somewhat.

Our advice: arm yourself with courage and climb the flowery steps that lead to the Church of Brélévens. Charm guaranteed!

A little further away, the small town of Tréguier offers you another pleasant moment of stroll. Don't miss its small commercial port, as well as its magnificent cathedral and cloister.

Activities for the whole family

Can you feel the call of the sea? Many activities are offered on the coast to become one with the water: sailing, surfing, kayaking and even diving. And if rain comes into your stay, opt for a session at the Roz Marine thalasso or a trip to the Kasino de Perros.

To keep your little blond heads busy, Perros-Guirec offers you nature outings fishing for shrimps or knives. Also think of storytelling walks, miniature golf or even Les Estivales, sports and cultural activities for children.
